Ski Patrollers Manual
I agree that this should be a basic document for new patrollers and should be more easily accessible. Having been involved in some recruiting and helping new patrollers, I have referred them to this document. It has some good information in it when a new patroller does not know what to do. Very important document! It should be updated and provided to every new patroller!

Dated But Relevant
The Patroller’s manual definitely has some age to it; it seems to have been many years since it’s been updated. If you can overlook that, having this in a PDF format is very handy, since you can open in Acrobat and search the text to find exactly what you’re looking for. I would hope that if NSP had no plans to create a 15th edition in print that they would consider posting this material directly on the NSP website to make it easy for all to find when you have to find something quickly, regardless of whether you’ve “purchased” it in the NSP store.
